Thinking at Twilight

Regarding the technique, the artist’s goal was to raise the “street art” of the nineties and two thousand, from which he had anyway been inspired being contemporary, and make it more expressive and deep by adding elements taken from his studies, such as, for example, the dancers by Edgar Degas and George Orwell’s awareness with a sense of unease (“The Big Brother (1984)”). Precisely this quote to Orwell wants to be the predominant element of the picture and the core meaning. In fact, the artist wants to make the user reflect on the issue of security and privacy; the truth that emerged with the Snowden case has brought to light all the darkest fears about the subject of privacy. Now through our smartphones we are monitored both by microphones and by video cameras. The implicit question posed by the artist is: “Where does the privacy of the individual end and the safety of the community begin?”.
