About the artist
Bio: In 1970 Ariel Chavarro Avila was born near Bogota in Colombia. This artist predominantly works in the medium of painting. His love of art began as a child with a particular fascination for nature and colour. Chavarro counts many recognised artist as his main source of inspiration as Kandinsky, Constable, Matisse, Chagall, Picasso, Dalí, and Hockney. Since 1992 Chavarro Avila attend both the Fashion Design, School Arturo Tejada Cano followed by Universidad de los Andes, here he specialised in Fine Arts. Avila has held solo shows in Bogota, Medellin, and Cali in Colombia. Since 2000-2012 he resided in Madrid, Spain where he continued to exhibit his work. Ariel has held more than 50 solo shows in Colombia, and in Europe, and more than 70 collective exhibitions across the world. Chavarro Avila is very happy because he is collaborating with galleries, art dealers, and more art collectors, foundations, and museums are requesting his paintings for their private collections as Haegeumgang Theme Museum, Nambumyeon (53334) South Korea.
